New images of the three-door 1 Series

. Surfaced they are in Chinese blogs. The patent drawings are probably from the European Patent Office.

By Robin Hornig The speculation on the three-door version of the BMW 1 Series (F21) may have an end. Assuming the images of the hatchback version in the Chinese blogs are not forged. More likely is that they come from the European Patent Office. Despite Chinese characters – to understand the images it needs no interpreter. Examine them carefully enough. The design drawings for the second three-door 1 Series-generation speak for themselves: The front-end design meets the five-door hatchback. As with its predecessors, the changes remain manageable so between three and five-door model and are essentially limited to the range between B-and C-pillar.
